Who is westrafox?

The Kansas City-based songwriting duo westrafox likes to keep you guessing. Multi-instrumentalists Jill Westra and Johnny Fox began collaborating in 2018, writing songs and performing between Columbia, MO and Kansas City. Upon agreement that the sleepytime acoustic duo scene was saturated enough, they committed to delivering a high-energy wake-up call through a unique hybrid of country, rock and blues that will make the listener wonder what's around the next turn. Regardless of whether they come slinging electric or acoustic guitars, upright bass or banjo, tambourine or kick drum, you can be assured that the tight vocal harmonies and worth-your-wait songwriting won't disappoint.

"Creepin' on my Man" is the first officially-released single for the duo, a 2019 home recording with Jill on guitars, percussion and lead vocals; Johnny on upright bass and harmony vocals. Produced, recorded, engineered and mixed by westrafox. Vocals recorded by Rob Nold.
